Dr. Sharma was awarded a PhD in ‘The therapeutic role of aged garlic in diabetic-induced cardiomyopathy'. Her research focused on how chronic diabetic conditions lead to cardiac failure and the therapeutic role of a hydrogen sulphide-inducing natural product (aged garlic).
